Collect Food for your Local Food Pantry

  • Contact a food pantry, soup kitchen, church or civic group in your area that helps provide food to needy people in your area to find out what they need and will accept.
  • Keep a count of how many cans or boxes of non-perishable food items are collected.
  • Contact Mary McAbee at marymac@famview.com or 864-375-1715 by Oct. 18 to let her know that your club is participating. Give name of group for whom you are collecting food with contact information.
  • Collect as much food as you can between now and Nov. 20. Send total number of cans or boxes  to Mary McAbee by Nov. 25 to be eligible to win priz.e
  • Grand prize: Pay for registration to NFRW spring board meeting for President of Club (or other designated member) with most cans collected.
  • Second place:  Pay for registration to NFRW Legislative Day for President of Club (or designated member) with second highest number
  • Special recognition of all who participate with pictures on web site and also at next board meeting.
