President's Letter
Established in 1961, South Carolina Federation of Republican Women's
mission is to help women from all walks of life to become players at the
political table nationally, statewide and locally. Members coming
together as a collective force to advance the power of women through
political access and participation. Like the
National Federation of Republican Women,
which was established in 1938, we are financially and organizationally
independent.
However, the SCFRW cooperates with and aids
the SC Republican Party. In support of the party, the SCFRW uses
its resources to:
Elect Republican candidates to public office,
Train campaign leaders and volunteers,
Recruit and train women for public office and other leadership roles,
Educate members on legislative issues, and
Promote the principles and policies of the Republican Party.
Within each Local Unit you will find women who have participated in campaigns at every level. The women of the SC Federation are organized, dedicated and committed! If you don't belong to a Federated Local Club, consider this your invitation to join. When You become a member of a Local Club, you automatically become a member of the SCFRW and the NFRW. In the true spirit of Republican conservatism; YOU GET "THREE FOR THE PRICE OF ONE"! You will find the SC Federation of Republican Women an organization you will be PROUD to be a part of; after all others have--others such as South Carolina's first lady Jenny Sanford and SC former first lady Ann Edwards.
