Peggy Bodner (York County RW)-- Topic is Firearm Ownership and Safety; Women's Self-Defense
Ms. Bodner is the State Coordinator for the Second Amendment Sisters. She is also the Secretary of the NRA in South Carolina. In today's society, understanding firearm ownership, operation, and safety is crucial, and a healthy course in self-defense for women is a necessity. Mrs. Carr is the president of York County RW. She is the SCFRW Americanism Chairman and the NFRW Caring for America Vice-Chairman. Cindy Costa (Charleston County RW)--Topic is: Grassroots Organization and Advocacy
Mrs. Costa is SCGOP's National Committeewoman and the Executive Director of the South Carolina Winning Women program. She has been active in Republican politics for many years. Kristi Harrington (Berkeley County RW)--Topic is: Criminal Law (domestic violence, child abuse, drugs)
Ms. Harrington is the 1st Vice President of the SCFRW as well as the 1st Vice-Chairman for the Berkeley County GOP. She is an assistant solicitor in the 9th judicial circuit, specializing in domestic violence and child abuse. She is the co-chairman of the SCFRW Presidential Primary committee. Cathy Herron (York County RW)--Topic is: Membership Recruitment
Mrs. Herron is the State Treasurer of the SCFRW as well as the immediate past president of York County RW. During her tenure, she saw membership grow in her club. York County RW is known for their strong support of women business owners, especially Republican women business owners. As the person who most directly is responsible for overall membership totals (keeping up with getting the monies received and to the NFRW), she would be an excellent source for your clubs on membership. Dr. Christina Jeffrey (Palmetto House RW)--Topics: The Constitution; Political Science and Election Day analyses; Choice in Education; Conservatives in Academia? It Would Be Nice!; Female Candidate Experiences
Dr. Jeffrey has her doctorate in Public Administration and has taught Constitutional Law and Political Science (among many subjects) for Coastal Carolina University, Wofford College, and other institutions for many years. She has the distinction of being named by Newt Gingrich to US House Historian, although only holding the title for a short period of time. Mrs. McAbee is the 2nd Vice President of the SCFRW as well as the 2nd Vice Chairman of Anderson County GOP. She is the chairman of the SCFRW's Leadership Development program that presents regional workshops annually. She is certified in parliamentary procedure. She has been a candidate, the wife of a candidate, and intricately understands the candidacies and their effects on women. She also has been trained in the NFRW's Razzle Dazzle Road Show. Mrs. Neal is the SCFRW Awards Chairman. She has been on the Board of Directors for the SCFRW for many years as Treasurer, Bylaws Chairman, and other capacities.
